Shaft Jeans was founded in 1964 in Montpellier by French craftsman Mr. Shafir and arrived in Italy in 1968, where denim became a symbol of youth and rebellion. In 2004, denim expert Francesca Bacci acquired the brand and reimagined it with a strong Made in Italy identity. Today, she leads Shaft Jeans alongside her twin children, Letizia and Lorenzo. Known for high-quality craftsmanship, Shaft designs and produces its collections in Italy, blending American denim heritage with contemporary fashion details. Each season introduces updated pieces — from jeans and jackets to skirts and shirts — while staying true to the brand’s core values: style, research, and authentic Italian production.
